Vital Statistics (at time of interview)

Introduction

After dodging the guards in Qeynos, Narzoo, Warden of the Watch, goes to meet Dubia at her home in Qeynos.

After a lot of jumping, Dubia finally calmed down and sat on her cushions with Wisp next to her. Narzoo waited a moment to see if she had settled and then joined her. It was good for the two sisters to sit and talk.

The Interview

Dubia: Heeeellos Narzoo: Hello Dubia Dubia: Me been asked to interviews you…yeppers

• Narzoo smiles at Dubia*

Narzoo: Yes, I know. You told me 5 minutes ago.

• Dubia stares at Narzoo for a short while*

Dubia: Me been asked to interviews you…yeppers

• Narzoo sighs*

Narzoo: What would you like to know? I’m sure Miss T has given you a list of things to ask. Dubia: Oooh ooh….yeppers. Erms…How dids you join the Watch? That be a good one. Narzoo: I was found in the Commonlands around the Druid Ring. Some travellers had been searching for a magical wisp and I had stayed to help them. After a long talk with one of the travellers, they invited me to join the family of Truewatch as the first member from Freeport. Dubia: Me been theres. Buts what dids you do before the Watch? Narzoo: My story is a long one. I wasn’t always a follower of Tunare.

• Dubia looks puzzled*

Dubia: Is wasn’t?

• Narzoo looks down*

Narzoo: I was follower of Cazic Thule. A devout follower. And there are things that happened during this time that I am not proud of and would like to forget. But Tunare saved me, and I have tried to live a tunarian life. Dubia: Buts you still lives in Freeport? Narzoo: I have unfinished business there and I will say no more on that.

Dubia: Does you owns a house in Freeports? Narzoo: Yes I do. I live at 1 Justice Road in South Freeport, next to the gate to Scale Yard. It is a bit of a mess at the moment as my adventuring has kept me away. And you will have to mind all the pets in there. Dubia: Me likes pets…

Dubia: …buts why so many? Narzoo: Each pet I have has been given the name of a friend who has meant a lot to me. It is so they are never forgotten. Dubia: Me likes the Dubia monkey.

Dubia: Me knows you likes talkings, but whoms do you talks to most in Freeports? Narzoo: The Brood Matron in Scale Yard. She is wise in the knowledge of my ancesters and I have known her for a few years now. Dubia: Is know lots of peoples me bets. Me coulds names many that’s me talks to, buts Miss T says me nots allowed to talks about me…noppers. Narzoo: I am sure you will get your chance.

Dubia: Oooh…this be good question. Is have family in Truewatch? Narzoo: Well, I have you for a start. Then I have my daughters, Pige and Aneshia. And there is Onnap whom I saved from Venekor in the temple of Cazic Thule. Dubia: Me remembers the froggy…she be tiny and pinks. Is nice havings friends all togethers in Truewatch. Narzoo: There is a sense of family here. I have been in Norrath a long time, and I have found no other home that matches Truewatch.

Dubia: Ifs you coulds go on a dates *giggles* with anyones, where woulds you go? Narzoo: Moekejo and I used to go to the beech in the north-east Antonica. Dubia: Me remembers hims. Narzoo: We were bonded together and he is the father of Pige, but he has since left this world.

• Dubia hugs Narzoo*

Dubia: Me knows….

Dubia: Is haves any special friends in the families? Narzoo: There is one that means a lot to me and she knows who she is, but I have many other close friends that I am afraid to name them incase I miss any out

Dubia: Is likes adventurings with friends….me goes to many places with Wisp, buts what be your favouritest place to go? Narzoo: The greatest place I have ever been has to be the Isle of Refuge. I spent a while there before I caught the boat to Freeport, and I later revisited the island to save it from the evil Dragon, Darathar.

Dubia: Ands is adventure with the families too, buts not kill anythings. Is done that’s before? Narzoo: We once had a race around Antonica. It was a lot of fun and something I think we should do again.

• Narzoo giggles*

Narzoo: I had Chaosbane in my team and we won. He sure could hop fast.

Dubia: Ifs you coulds only have one pictures of Norrath, whats would it be? Narzoo: It would be of the forest….of nature…of Growth. I feel it around me and want to be surrounded by it as much as I can.

Dubia: Is likes being a druid? Narzoo: It is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I feel so alive. I am able to help people in a way that I couldn’t do if I was anything else. I wouldn’t change for anything. This is who I am and shall stay.

Dubia: Me likes clothes…me after a pinks robe. Is have any nice things you likes to wear? Narzoo: I have always enjoyed wearing robes, but I will always treasure the guild robe that Truewatch was awarded when we reached circle 30. I remember the work we had to put in to get it, but it was worth it. Dubia: Yep yeppers…is mine favouritest too.

• There is a slight pause before Dubia’s eyes light up*

Dubia: Does you likes Owlbears and pineapples?

• Narzoo smiles*

Narzoo: I was waiting for that.

• Dubia giggles and Narzoo smiles again*

Narzoo: I have a great love of all the creatures in Norrath.

Dubia: Wells….that be all me thinks
