The Journey begins (by Biet)
From WikiWatch
Tomorrow in Kaladim. An old saying for dwarves here in Qeynos. How much Biet would love to see that city of old. But still….there is much work to be done. We can`t leave our allies now. They will need our help. And not just from the forge. They will need our axes and hammers as well. We don`t know the fiddling of mages, but our priests know well how to heal battlewounds and sickness. And our warriors? We know how to wield our weapons. Many have judged us by our size, but have found out how wrong they were by the strength of our arms and the sharpness of our blades.
*Biet takes a sip from his ale* The beer is good here and so is the company from the other dwarves *smiles to his wife who is chatting with a halfling female across the room*……, but thinking back off all the friends he has lost in battles or just lost sight off. He has wandered around for more than a year before he was able to find Miss Taraiha. *Biet smiles in remembrance* That gnome always is able to make me smile. It was good to see her again. Perhaps some of the others are here as well. *Biet sighs* The lands are vast on Norrath, it might be worth settling here for a while. *Biet nods to himself* Yes, stop thinking about the past and sad things. If I can find my way here, so can that long eared mage….*sighs again* His company would be welcome though in the coming journeys.
Ah well, no sense in sitting down here. *Biet stands up and pays for his ale* It is time to learn more about these lands and sharpen my skills again. *shows a grin* Yes some action will do me good. And if little Miss T made new friends here, then I can find at least some battle companions. *Leaves the tavern* What did that old dwarf say again: “It is always darkest right before the hammer strikes.” Time to let evil see some darkness then. *grins and grips his hammer and axe firmly and starts walking trough the city feeling much better already.*
