The true history of the Sisterhood begins in times of great turmoil. In times the Vah Shir still inhabited the moon of Luclin, and the moon itself graced the Norrathian nights.

Prowess, a small Vah Shir kitten, played around in the pit surrounding Shar Vahl. Her twinsister Kittani always joined her in that play. During their studies of the spiritworld and the ways of the old shamen of the clan, they grew tired of the old ways. Not tired of the excitment of using their spiritual powers for adventure and enjoyment, but just the tired grey ways of the patriarchal society. They made a bloodvow to bring glory back to the feline females and to eventually take their rightfull places in Vah Shir society.

The elder of the clan and the advisories of the King took the only step they knew to take, and the sisters were banished for a decade. Young and adventerous they travelled the moon, and beyond. Seeing the cities of Katta Castellum and Maru Seru. Travelling through the Plain of Knowledge portals, where they met so many different races and befriended so many adventurers. In the Plain of Kowledge they grew in knowledge and the ways of beastmastery, calling forth the spirits to aide them in their quests.

This is also where the sisterhood grew, as more female of different races joined in their believes of equality, and at times supremacy. As it grew, stories of an ancient epic weapon of the beastmasters (often called beastlords, but this was an unacceptable term for both the sisters). The ancient Claw of the Savage Spirit, as the weapon was known, fueled their passion for the fight and revenge, and they decided to change the name of the sisterhood to the Sisterhood of the Savage Claw.

This renewed fury gave them all the more passion to regain their rightfull place on Luclin, in the heart of the Vah Shir rule.
