Introduction
Guild Grandmaster Sage. Chief Guild Recruiter. Torch Bearer of the Six. Also known as the Man with the Spoon.
Lord Hagan, in the midst of his busy recruiting and promotions schedule agreed to meet Minks for an interview.
The Interview
HaganMinks:"Sooo.. tells me somethings about yourselfs!"
Hagan:"oooo, well, I have a very nice little house in South Queynos - which I managed to buy after many, many months earning gold coins as a sage. But now that I have handed over the responsibilities of Master Sage to Lady Valena, I am enjoying getting out into the fresh air more often."
Minks:"you liveds in qeynoses all your lifes?"
Hagan:"aye, I am, and will ever remain, a loyal citizen of the fair city."
Minks:"So you grews up theres then yus? tells me somes about your pasts"
Hagan:"I don't remember much of my life before I was shipwrecked on the Isle - too many jars of jumjum ale in my youth I suspect - but I can certainly remember why I joined the Watch, if you'd be interested in that story?"
Minks:"Course! that pasts too *nods*"
Hagan:"When I was a teenager, and still finding my way in Qeynos, a watcher found me in Nettleville still dressed in the rags I had found on the Isle - I had not discovered how to use the broker and had but a few coppers in my purse. I could not afford to buy new armour from the street vendor - but this kindly player gave me 30 silver pieces that I was able to spend on new armour. Because of his kindness, I searched for an officer and joined Truewatch a week or two later."
Minks:"ahhh that very nice! Watchers good peoples *nods* "
Minks:"You gots any relatives in the watch?"
Hagan:"aye, there is a young rascal called Fredd who was born on the wrong side of town. And I have a half-brother called Gringott who seems to spend most of his time asleep by his fishing pond these days."
Minks:"ahh yus! Thems proud watchers too *nods*"
Minks:"What your favorite places on norraths? Where you goes when you not huntings?"
Hagan:"you know, I still enjoy lying on the grass in Antonica staring up at the moons, usually out by the Claymore Monument. "
Hagan:"and I really enjoy playing with the racing piggies on the island of mara"
Minks:"ohh yus! thens lotsa funs! I never wins anythings thoughs *chuckles*"
Minks:"and how abouts while huntings? where you likes to goes then?"
Hagan:"these days I get little chance to go hunting - but I think my favorite place to hunt was in the Feerrott - a terrible place to harvest, for the nodes were hidden by the trees, but a wondrous forest for hunting strange beasts"
Hagan:"So what abouts guild events? you likes them? What your favorites?"
Hagan:"hehe I remember a race we had when I was young - it was at the time when a strange plague was afflicting the citizens of Norrath. Lord Gunny thought he was onto a cure, but he needed some uncommon roots from Antonica, so he set a challenge"
Hagan:"five gold coins to the Watcher that found the most of this herb in 1 hour - and I won - I was really proud of those gold coins"
Minks:"*smiles* ohhh that long ago no?"
Hagan:"but these days, it is mainly the tavern nights (and the beer) that I enjoy - and aye, that was a very long time ago - when Gunny was still a young Lord, and five gold coins was considered a small fortune"
Minks:"*nods* tis not so much no mores..."
Minks:"sooo, why you becames a templar?"
Hagan:"I suppose that it is because I do not like to harm things, I prefer to help others through my healing arts - although I sometimes thought that it would be nice to be able to kill gnolls just that little bit easier"
Minks:"if you coulds picks another proffessions, woulds you do it?"
Hagan:"actually, I really enjoy being a sage and a templar, so for both, I must answer no"
Minks:"that goods! *nods*"
Minks:"Who's your best friend or friends on norraths?"
Hagan:"oh, to be honest, I have no specific best friend in Norrath"
Hagan:"You gots lotsa bests friends then?"
Hagan:"hehe, that is one way of thinking of it thens"
Minks:"*chuckles* final questions: what your personal motto?"
Hagan smiles.
Hagan:"My motto is not to have a motto"
Minks laughs.
Minks:"That a good motto!"
Minks:"Thankies lots for the interviewings! It been lotsa funs!"
